Experience Europe’s best architecture with expert guides
From April to May 2026, the EUmies Awards 2026 Out & About programme invites you to discover some of the most outstanding contemporary architecture across Europe.

Organised by the European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, with the expertise of Guiding Architects, this initiative opens the doors to the 40 shortlisted works of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture / Mies van der Rohe Awards 2026.

Through a programme of more than 30 free guided tours, lectures, and events in over 30 cities, visitors will have the opportunity to experience these projects first-hand and learn about them through the voices of their architects and clients.

From Barcelona to Copenhagen, from Paris to Dubrovnik, Out & About offers a unique way to explore how contemporary architecture transforms everyday life—making visible the ideas, processes and people behind each work.

Out & About is part of the EUmies Awards 2026 programme, which celebrates excellence, innovation and sustainability in architecture and its impact on society.

Tomorrow, April 16, winners of the EUmies Awards 2026 will be announced.
