Bulgáriai Elin-Pelin város központjának építészeti kialakításával kapcsolatos felhívás

A Magyarország Szófiai Nagykövetsége továbbította számunkra a bulgáriai Elin-Pelin város központjának építészeti kialakításával kapcsolatos felhívást.

The Municipality of Elin Pelin is organizing an international competition for a conceptual design for the city center of Elin Pelin. The competition seeks to shape a new identity for the central and surrounding urban area of the town by creating an environment that encourages social activity, cultural exchange, and economic development. The competition area is divided into two zones:
- Conceptual Design for Zone 1: The City Center,
- General Concept for Zone 2: The Surrounding Area, including standards for urban elements and typical details.

The competition aims to attract a wider variety of solutions from professionals in architecture, urban planning, landscape design, and related fields.

Prize Fund:

1st Prize – € 10,000

2nd Prize – € 7,000

3rd Prize – € 3,000

Two Honourable Mentions – € 1,000 each

The Municipality of Elin Pelin will commission the preparation of an investment project following the competition.

The overarching goal is to enhance the quality of life in Elin Pelin, stimulate investment and tourism, and transform the central areas into an attractive destination for both residents and visitors. The competition invites architects, urban planners, landscape architects, designers, and creative teams to propose solutions that combine innovation with respect for the local context.

Deadline for registration: 04 February 2026
Deadline for submission: 09 February 2026
Preparation of competition materials for jurying: 10–13 February 2026
Jurying: 16 February – 16 March 2026

Announcement of the competition results: no later than 24 March 2026
